MORGEN & SANDFORD COLLECTION

Uniting through a shared passion to create enduring and sustainable pieces, Morgen and Sandford collection sees the coming together of furniture designers and makers, Nick McDonald, Made By Morgen’s founder and Charles Sandford. Their respective backgrounds leverage multiple decades of honed industry experience, crafting both their own and commissioned works. The joining of forces comes as a natural progression for both, aligning shared philosophies of simplicity.

The George Street collection was initially commissioned and designed for R.M. Williams’ flagship store on George Street, Sydney. Combining craftsmanship with functionality, it honours the heritage of the iconic Australian brand.

Made By Morgen x Melbourne Design Week 2025

Last May 2025, we hosted and produced our first exhibition with our friend and interior designer, Ryan Fernandes, who curated the event. We had the pleasure to showcase the beautiful pieces of 17 local artists and makers, along with Sarah Nedovic, Martyn Thompson, Emma Shepherd (Sundance Studio), Ryan L. Foote, Moya Delany, Andrew Hustwaite, Paul Vizzari…

Over ten days, we welcomed nearly 2,000 visitors. The response from the design community was overwhelming, and we hope you left feeling as inspired as we did.
